Practical Closet Storage Solutions

There is a saying that goes:”A cluttered house is a sign of a cluttered mind.” Before people accuse you of having a messed up mind, you should take a look around your house and see what needs to get fixed up real fast. The easiest place to get organized is your closet. It just occupies a minimal space and if you just devote a little time and attention you can get this orderly in just a nick of time.

First thing you have to do is to take out everything you have in your closet so you can have a better assessment of how much space you have. Next, sort out your clothes and things. Get rid of clothes that you no longer want to wear. Put in a separate pile clothes that you are still using and in another pile clothes that you will be wearing in the next season. For your other knick knacks like belts, bags and others put them in another pile.

Take a look at the vacant space in your closet. Do you have provisions or shelves where you can put piles of folded clothes? If you don’t, then invest in closet storage solutions like storage boxes. You can put neatly folded shirts and blouses in one box and all your other stuff in a separate box. You can put them one on top of the other or side by side at the bottom of your cabinet. Utilize the clothes rack only for clothing that really needs to be hung.
